Anti-war Presidential Candidate?

I chose the newspaper clipping of John Kerry and Jane Fonda at a antiwar rally because it was a very realistic and candid shot of John Kerry. The picture was originally of Jane Fonda talking at a political rally in 1972. The picture was altered to include a picture of John Kerry waiting to speak at the Register for Peace Rally in 1971. The picture was altered in 2004 during the democratic presidential primaries to hurt John Kerry's chances as president. This manipulation was harmful because it caused confusion and mixed messages to the American people and may have affected their vote. The drama and publicity associated with this fake picture only drove people away from important issues.

Agreed. The other photoshoped pics are not really that important, but this has an affect on who is and isn't voted in as president. Plus it makes people less likely to care when there is so much mudslinging.
